IVMAccessRights::SpecialAccess property

The SpecialAccess property determines whether this entry controls permissions not mapped to generic read, write or execute access rights.

This property is read/write.

Property value

Contains vbTrue if the entry controls the permissions of the protected object not mapped to generic read, write or execute access.

This property value is read/write.

Error codes

Name Meaning
S_OK
The operation was successful.
E_POINTER
specialAccess was NULL.

Examples

The following example prints the SpecialAccess property of the access control entries from the security object protecting access to the COM interfaces and global settings.
