ServiceConfigurationCreatedEventArgs Class

[Starting with the .NET Framework 4.5, Windows Identity Foundation (WIF) has been fully integrated into the .NET Framework. The version of WIF addressed by this topic, WIF 3.5, is deprecated and should only be used when developing against the .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 or the .NET Framework 4. For more information about WIF in the .NET Framework 4.5, also known as WIF 4.5, see the Windows Identity Foundation documentation in the .NET Framework 4.5 Development Guide.]

Assembly: Microsoft.IdentityModel (in Microsoft.IdentityModel.dll)

    Inherits EventArgs
public class ServiceConfigurationCreatedEventArgs : EventArgs
public ref class ServiceConfigurationCreatedEventArgs : public EventArgs
public class ServiceConfigurationCreatedEventArgs extends EventArgs
public class ServiceConfigurationCreatedEventArgs extends EventArgs

Remarks

The ServiceConfigurationCreated event is raised when the WSFederationAuthenticationModule loads the service configuration. This occurs when the first HTTP module in the web application references the FederatedAuthentication.ServiceConfiguration property. The event is only raised once, not on a per-module basis.

The ServiceConfigurationCreatedEventArgs class carries the data for this event. The ServiceConfiguration property contains a reference to the configuration loaded by WSFederationAuthenticationModule, which you can use to modify the service configuration. To do so, you should catch this event in the Application_Start method (in global.asax).
