ProjectRootElement.CreateUsingTaskParameterElement Method

Creates a parameter for use in a UsingTask element parameter group.

MSBuild is now included in Visual Studio instead of the .NET Framework. You can use MSBuild 12.0 side-by-side with versions previously deployed with the .NET Framework.For more information, see What's New in MSBuild 12.0.

Parameters

  • output
    Type: System.String

    Stores outputs from the task in the project file.

  • required
    Type: System.String

    A user-defined task parameter that contains the parameter value as its value.

Return Value

Type: Microsoft.Build.Construction.ProjectUsingTaskParameterElement
Returns the parameter.

Remarks

Caller must add the parameter to the UsingTask parameter group of choice in the project.
