IVsDataReaderDescriptor.GetItemIndex Method

Retrieves the index corresponding to the specified data item name for the current data reader.

Parameters

• name
  Type: System.String

  The date item name for which to retrieve the index.

Return Value

Type: System.Int32
The index corresponding to the specified data item name for the current data reader, or nulla null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) if the item is not found.
