To align two or more objects
Select the objects that you want to align. (You can select more than one object by holding the CTRL key. For information about how to select objects in Expression Blend, see Select or cancel the selection of objects.)
On the Object menu, point to Align, and then click one of the following:
Left Edges Aligns the left edge of each object to that of the object that was selected last.
Horizontal Centers Aligns the objects horizontally around the center point of each object. The object that was selected last is anchored and the other objects move.
Right Edges Aligns the right edge of each object to that of the object that was selected last.
Top Edges Aligns the top edge of each object to that of the object that was selected last.
Vertical Centers Aligns the objects vertically around the center point of each object. The object that was selected last is anchored and the other objects move.
Bottom Edges Aligns the bottom edge of each object to that of the object that was selected last.
Tip
You can also access the Align commands from the shortcut menu that appears when you right-click the selected objects on the artboard or under Objects and Timeline.
Note
To set the alignment of an individual object, set the HorizontalAlignment and VerticalAlignment options under Layout category in the Properties panel. For more information, see Change the alignment of an object.
