Enabling NAP-based quarantine control

This topic describes how to enable NAP-based quarantine control. When using Network Access Protection (NAP) enforcement for virtual private networking (VPN), you must configure Forefront TMG to quarantine VPN clients according to RADIUS server policies.

To enable NAP-based quarantine control

  1. In the Forefront TMG Management console, in the tree, click the Remote Access Policy (VPN) node, and then in the details pane, click the VPN Clients tab.

  2. In the Tasks tab, click Configure Quarantine Control.

  3. On the Quarantine tab, select the Enable Quarantine Control and Quarantine according to RADIUS server policies check boxes, and then click OK.
