New Group Dialog Box

Use the New Group dialog box to add a distribution list or security group to Active Directory Domain Services.

Settings

Item	Description
Group name	Type the name of the group.
Description	Type an optional description for the group.
Distribution	Use the group as a distribution list for e-mail messages. In the E-mail address text box, type an e-mail alias for the distribution list.
Security	Use the group to assign permissions for accessing network resources.
