AlertType Enumeration
The AlertType enumeration contains values that are used to specify the type of event or performance condition that causes alerts to be raised.

| NonSqlServerEvent | Specifies a system event. |
| SqlServerEvent | Specifies an event such as an error or a message that is generated by the instance of Microsoft SQL Server. |
| SqlServerPerformanceCondition | Specifies a condition applied to a specified Microsoft SQL Server performance counter. For example, the number of connections is greater than 10. |
| WmiEvent | Specifies an event that is raised by the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) Provider interface. This option is available for instances running Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and later. |

The AlertType enumeration class is served by the AlertType property.
This namespace, class, or member is supported only in version 2.0 of the Microsoft .NET Framework.
