sp_delete_targetservergroup (Transact-SQL)

Deletes the specified target server group.

Syntax

sp_delete_targetservergroup [ @name = ] 'name' 

Arguments

  • [ @name= ] 'name'
    The name of the target server group to remove. name is sysname, with no default.

Return Code Values

0 (success) or 1 (failure)

Result Sets

None

Permissions

Requires membership in the sysadmin fixed server role.

Examples

The following example removes the target server group Servers Processing Customer Orders.

USE msdb ;
GO

EXEC sp_delete_targetservergroup
    @name = N'Servers Processing Customer Orders';
GO
