How to: Add or Delete an Entity [Model Designer]
To modify a report model, the model project must be open in Microsoft Business Development Studio.
To add an entity
In the Tree view of the Report Model window, on the Reporting Model menu, click NewEntity.
The new entity is appended to the end of the model items list.
Note
You can also add a new entity by right-clicking the report model name in Tree view, pointing to New, and clicking Entity.
In the list view of the Report Model window, right-click the entity, and click Rename.
Type a name for the new entity.
In Properties, click the Binding button.
In the Entity Binding dialog box, select the table or column to which you want to bind the new entity
Click OK.
To delete an entity
In the Detail view of the Report Model window, right-click the entity, and then click Delete.
When prompted, click OK.
The entity is deleted.
