Count (CustomProperties Collection)

  This feature will be removed in the next version of Microsoft SQL Server. Do not use this feature in new development work, and modify applications that currently use this feature as soon as possible.

The Count property of a CustomProperties collection returns the number of items in the collection.

The following code example checks to see whether the CustomProperties collection of a database is empty:

Dim dsoServer As New DSO.Server
Dim dsoDB As DSO.Database

' Connect to local Analysis server.
dsoServer.Connect "LocalHost"

' Get reference to FoodMart 2000 database.
Set dsoDB = dsoServer.MDStores("FoodMart 2000")

' Check for custom properties.
If dsoDB.CustomProperties.Count > 0 Then
    ' There is at least one custom property in the
    ' CustomProperties collection.
End If

' Clean up.
Set dsoDB = Nothing
dsoServer.CloseServer
