Data Type

Access

Read-only

Remarks

This property returns a table name that is the same value as the SourceTable property of the parent dimension object.

Example

A database contains the following tables:

  • Sales_Facts
  • Customer
  • Product
  • Product_Class
  • Promotion
  • Store
  • Calendar

This diagram illustrates the relationships of these tables.

Use the following code to print the FROM clause for a level object:

' Assume an object (dsoLevel) of ClassType clsLevel
' and is associated with the Store dimension and
' Store_Name level
Debug.Print " Level: " & dsoLevel.Name
Debug.Print " From Clause: " & dsoLevel.FromClause

The immediate window displays the following:

        Level: Store_Name
  From Clause: "store"
