Thread Safety
Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are safe for multithreaded operations. Instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
Remarks
Setting properties of the SPFieldNumber class requires that the Update method be called for changes to take effect in the database.
