The following table lists the methods of the SP.Field class.

Methods

Name	Description
deleteObject	Deletes the field from the list, from the site, or from the content types within the list.
Field	Initializes a new instance of the SP.Field Class.
initPropertiesFromJson	This member is reserved for internal use and is not intended to be used directly from your code.
update	Commits changed properties of the field.
updateAndPushChanges	Commits changed properties of the field and propagates changes to all lists that use the field.
