WorksheetFunction.T_Dist Method
Returns a Student t-distribution where a numeric value (x) is a calculated value of t for which the Percentage Points are computed.
Namespace: Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel
Assembly: Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel (in Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.dll)
Syntax
'Declaration
Function T_Dist ( _
Arg1 As Double, _
Arg2 As Double, _
Arg3 As Boolean _
) As Double
'Usage
Dim instance As WorksheetFunction
Dim Arg1 As Double
Dim Arg2 As Double
Dim Arg3 As Boolean
Dim returnValue As Double
returnValue = instance.T_Dist(Arg1, Arg2, _
Arg3)
double T_Dist(
double Arg1,
double Arg2,
bool Arg3
)
Parameters
Arg1
Type: System.DoubleX - The numeric value at which to evaluate the distribution.
Arg2
Type: System.DoubleDeg_freedom - An integer that indicates the number of degrees of freedom.
Arg3
Type: System.BooleanCumulative - A logical value that determines the form of the function. If cumulative is true, T_Dist returns the cumulative distribution function; if false, it returns the probability density function.
Return Value
Type: System.Double
Remarks
If any argument is nonnumeric, T_Dist returns the #VALUE! error value.
If deg_freedom < 1, T_Dist returns the #NUM! error value.
If x < 0, then T_Dist returns the #NUM! error value.
