WorksheetFunction.F_Inv Method
Returns the inverse of the F probability distribution.
Namespace: Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel
Assembly: Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel (in Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.dll)
Syntax
'Declaration
Function F_Inv ( _
Arg1 As Double, _
Arg2 As Double, _
Arg3 As Double _
) As Double
'Usage
Dim instance As WorksheetFunction
Dim Arg1 As Double
Dim Arg2 As Double
Dim Arg3 As Double
Dim returnValue As Double
returnValue = instance.F_Inv(Arg1, Arg2, _
Arg3)
double F_Inv(
double Arg1,
double Arg2,
double Arg3
)
Parameters
Arg1
Type: System.DoubleProbability - A probability associated with the F cumulative distribution.
Arg2
Type: System.DoubleDeg_freedom1 - The numerator degrees of freedom.
Arg3
Type: System.DoubleDeg_freedom2 - The denominator degrees of freedom.
Return Value
Type: System.Double
Remarks
If any argument is nonnumeric, F_Inv returns the #VALUE! error value.
If probability < 0 or probability > 1, F_Inv returns the #NUM! error value.
If deg_freedom1 or deg_freedom2 is not an integer, it is truncated.
If deg_freedom1 < 1, or deg_freedom2 < 1, F_Inv returns the #NUM! error value.
