Deprecated Options and Formats
The type option of the CreateMeetingRequest and ModifyMeetingRequest elements is now deprecated. All meetings are type Meeting, no matter what is selected for type. Pre-existing code using the type option continues to function — no error is thrown if the type option is used — but the option is ignored and the type is set to Meeting.
Because NetShow and RealAudio formats are no longer supported by the Live Meeting service, reference to them is removed from this documentation. Note that certain Reply elements, such as GetConferencingServiceDataReply and CreateUserReply, can still return values for these options but the values are always False.
BasicRecording is supported to the extent that GetURLRequest still returns a URL to replay the legacy BasicRecording format content. The replacement format (High Fidelity Presentation) plays back the slide presentation along with any meeting annotation in the correct order in a frame.
The groupsCanHoldGroups option of the GetConferencingServiceDataReply element is deprecated. The option itself still appears in the element but it always has a False value.
