The urn:schemas-microsoft-com:xml-data namespace defines properties (fields) used when defining a content class and properties in the Exchange store.

You specify the names of properties that are associated with a particular content class by listing these names in the content class definition item's element Field. Each named property must have a corresponding definition item within the applicable folder's schema scope.

You specify the names of content class a content class extends by listing these names in the content class definition item's extends Field. Each named content class must have a corresponding definition item within the applicable folder's schema scope.

You specify the name of a property or content class definition in a definition item's name Field. This name should be the fully qualified name of the content class or property. This name is referenced in other definition items.
