[This documentation is for preview only, and is subject to change in later releases. Blank topics are included as placeholders.]
Computes the axis and angle of rotation for a quaternion.
Namespace: Microsoft.WindowsMobile.DirectX
Assembly: Microsoft.WindowsMobile.DirectX (in Microsoft.WindowsMobile.DirectX.dll)
Syntax
'Declaration
Public Shared Sub ToAxisAngle ( _
q As Quaternion, _
ByRef axis As Vector3, _
ByRef angle As Single _
)
'Usage
Dim q As Quaternion
Dim axis As Vector3
Dim angle As Single
Quaternion.ToAxisAngle(q, axis, angle)
public static void ToAxisAngle(
Quaternion q,
ref Vector3 axis,
ref float angle
)
public:
static void ToAxisAngle(
Quaternion q,
Vector3% axis,
float% angle
)
static member ToAxisAngle :
q:Quaternion *
axis:Vector3 byref *
angle:float32 byref -> unit
Parameters
- q
Type: Microsoft.WindowsMobile.DirectX.Quaternion
Source Quaternion structure.
- axis
Type: Microsoft.WindowsMobile.DirectX.Vector3%
A Vector3 structure passed by reference, that identifies axis of rotation of the quaternion.
- angle
Type: System.Single%
A number, passed by reference, that identifies the angle of rotation, in radians, of the quaternion.
Remarks
This method requires unit quaternions.
