How to: Import Attachments
You can import documents from disk files into Microsoft Dynamics NAV and use them as attachments for your interaction templates.
To import attachments
In the Search box, enter Interaction Templates, and then choose the related link.
Select the interaction template you want to import an attachment for.
On the Navigate tab, in the Attachment group, choose Import. The Import window opens.
Select the path, drive, and file name of the attachment you want to import, and choose the Open button.
You can also import attachments from the Segment window by following the same procedure.
Important
You must not import Microsoft Word documents containing merge fields other than those created by Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
