Create variables on the Class tab

This variable type lets you access all the classes defined in Microsoft Dynamics AX. These variables are intended for users who have some programming experience. They can be used to handle Microsoft Dynamics AX classes in the modeling tree nodes.

Note

This information applies only to Product builder.

  1. Click Product information management > Common > Product builder > Product models.

  2. Double-click a product model.

  3. Click Product model.

  4. Select the Class tab and then Press CTRL+N to create a new line.

  5. In the Variable field, select any of the tables defined in Microsoft Dynamics AX.

  6. Type a name for the variable in the Variable field.
