DEL_LedgerAccountCategory::validateAccountCategory Method

Indicates whether an account category is valid to use on a ledger account.

• _accountCategory
  Type: AccountCategory Extended Data Type
  The account category against which to test.

• _accountCategoryRef
  Type: AccountCategoryRef Extended Data Type
  The account category reference to test against; optional.

Return Value

Type: boolean
true if the account category is valid; otherwise, false.

Remarks

This method gives an error message on failure. The optional _accountCategoryRef parameter is used if it is supplied; otherwise the _accountCategory parameter is used for the read.
