Description

Export row-based TOT formulas to Microsoft Excel

When you export a report to Excel, you can choose to include some formulas. For more information, see Export a report in Desktop Viewer.

New header and footer options for exporting reports to Microsoft Excel

You can have the following options when you export reports to Excel:

  • Display headers and footers on only the first page in Normal view.

  • Display headers and footers in Layout view.

Description

Use AutoText currency codes in a report

You can use AutoText currency codes in column definitions to automatically display currency information in a report row or header row. For more information, see Headers and Footers tab settings and Autotext descriptions.

View previous versions of a report in Web Viewer

When you open a report in Web Viewer, you can view previous versions of that report. Previous versions are sorted by date. For more information, see Web Viewer.

Create side-by-side reports

Column breaks have been added to the row definition, so that you can display report information in a side-by-side format. For more information, see Add a format code.

Use AutoText in column headers

You can use AutoText codes in headers for calculated columns. AutoText headers automatically update every time that the report is generated. For more information, see Create and manage column headers.

Specify display options for negative numbers in a report

New options are available for indicating negative numbers in a report. Negative values can be displayed with the minus sign (-), in parentheses (), or with a triangle (∆). For more information, see Select Format Override cell.

Description

Improved XBRL reports

Management Reporter improved support for reports that use XBRL (extensible business language) and XBRL taxonomies. You can also share and download XBRL reports using the Web Report Viewer.

Currency translation

If your system is integrated with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 or Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013, you can change the currency that is displayed in a report in the Web Report Viewer. The currency values in the report are converted based on rates defined in the Microsoft Dynamics ERP system.
