RegistryCloseNotification

The function removes a registered request for transient notifications. It also closes the notification handle.
Syntax

HREGNOTIFY hNotify
);
Parameters
- hNotify
[in] Handle to a valid notification.
Return Value
The following table shows the return values for this function.

Registered request for change notification is removed. |
E_INVALIDARG |
Invalid hNotify. |
E_NOT_FOUND |
Cannot find notification request in the list. |
Remarks
Success indicates that the change notification request was removed. Failure does not cause any change.
RegistryCloseNotification searches for references to hNotify and removes them from the list. The memory associated with hNotify is freed. Pending notifications are lost.
