The following functions are used with Short Message Service (SMS).

Cancels registration for SMS notifications. |

Closes an existing SMS Messaging handle. |

Gets the range of broadcast messages the mobile will listen for. > [!NOTE] > This function is not supported for CDMA. |

Determines an upper-bound for the size of the buffer. |

Retrieves a status report for a sent message. |

Reads the default Short Message Service Center (SMSC) address. > [!NOTE] > This function is not supported for CDMA. |

Gets the phone number of the device associated with the SMS bearer. |

Gets an estimate of the current time approximated by the SMSC's clock. > [!NOTE] > This function is not supported for CDMA. |

Opens the SMS Messaging component for send and/or receive access. |

Reads a previously received SMS message. |

Sends an SMS message. |

Sets the broadcast message range the mobile will listen for. > [!NOTE] > This function is not supported for CDMA. |

Starts your application when an SMS message arrives. |
