The following list describes the possible error codes returned by WCESMgr.exe, which is used to start ActiveSync Manager. For information about ActiveSync Manager, see ActiveSync Architecture.

ERROR_NOT_INITIALIZED |
Object is used without being initialized |
ERROR_INVALID_ID |
The ID/GUID is invalid. |
ERROR_ADD_FAILED |
Add failed, example due to data source, engine, or Security Support Provider (SSP) |
ERROR_DELETE_FAILED |
Delete failed. |
ERROR_ARRAY_OPERATION_FAILED |
When enumerated, sort or filter fails. |
ERROR_LOCK_ALREADY_HELD |
A thread synchronizing object attempts to acquire a lock, and it is already held. |
ERROR_NODE_HAS_NO_CHILD |
The XML node has no children |
ERROR_INVALID_GUID |
The GUID is invalid. |
ERROR_SAVE_FAILED |
Save failed, for example due to data source, engine, or SSP. |
ERROR_CREATION_FAILED |
Creation failed. |
