Free e-Learning Content on WPF
The Microsoft e-Learning team just launched a set e-Learning clinics covering core components of the .NET 3.0 framework, including WPF. The e-Learning clinics are free until Vista consumer launch.
For more information on accessing the free e-Learning content, see Free .NET 3.0 e-Learning.
The WPF SDK team contributed 5 of the videos, which are primarily code-walkthoughs (XAML and C#) of the following key WPF features areas:
- Building WPF Apps in Visual Studio 2005
- Defining UI Elements, Events, & Markup Extensions
- Data binding
- Content Navigation
- Dialog Boxes and Message Boxes
- Hosting WPF content in WinForms
Producing the video content was a great learning experience for us, and we will, no doubt, improve the production process as time goes by. As a content organization, we recognize the enormous potential in using video as a key educational tool in communicating technology.
Enjoy,
Lorin
