Slogging Through (by John Koziol)
I'm back from a very long weekend. Our ober-boss, Rob Copeland, gave us an additional day off so for the VS Data Team it was a 4 day weekend. Which was really cool until I made the inadvertent mistake of letting my wife know I might be able to do drywall repair. Unfortunately, she already knew I was moderately skilled in landscaping so I spent my break patching walls and hauling cuttings.
When I arrived at the office this morning, SOS awaited. Wrote a few test plans and took care of pending issues. Found a new bug (hint to Fox Folks - use the report wizard and choose the “Ledger” style - check page field).
VFP 9 is coming together. Our developers plain rock, Randy Brown is a master at specifications, and we're using better and smarter ways of finding bugs within the product. I'm proud and hopeful that this release will not only deliver great features, but will set a stability standard hard to match.
So there's my blog update.

Hmmm...smarter and better = better tools to track memory and stack issues (AppVerifier - available to the public). Code coverage tools to make sure that our tests traverse the source code, et al, et al.Anonymous
