Kinect Flying Robots & Flying Robot Band Show

Generally, I write  about Windows Azure:) But this time, I want to underline a wonderful research presentation, it's about flying robots:)

Yes, it's true  "Flying Robots". I've studies Astronautics Engineering years ago and
I've always wanted and sometimes tried to achieve such a multi-robot
implementation with optical path finding. Maybe this is the reason why I liked it a lot.

In his lab at Penn,  Vijay Kumar and his team build flying quad rotors, small, agile robots that swarm, sense each other, and form ad hoc teams -- for construction, surveying disasters and far more.

And there is a very good recorded presentation. I really like the idea and wanted to share.

This is one of the most successful Kinect implementations I've seen, Kinect & Flying Robots:)

Video is not short but it's worth to watch. What I recommend is to watch the very funny "Flying Robot Band Show" at 14:50 - 16:30. It's only 40 seconds and pretty cool:)
