OCS Deploy Series: Phase 1 (SE) Take 2 - Complete

Ok so this took far too long for something really so simple, really the SE deployment is simple. In fact it is too simple for the customer who will deploy EE at some point because of the multiple servers, fqdn and certificates.

This is a screen shot of the Virtual Machine topology I am using - SMBEX01 and B3OCS01 are the two running images at this time.

Here are 2 users signed in illustrating the power of the new access levels. Notice that Kevin placed himself in Do Not Disturb, but placed Holly in the access level of "Team", the net result is that Holly sees the icon used for busy and the text of Urgent interruptions only (you have to size the window wider to see the actual text). 

Notice also the new green presence icon - the light colored ring is for accessibility - color blindness. The few complaints stopped when one of our dev leads mentioned being color blind and this making a big difference for him. Think about the fact that they had a 10x10 space to solve this problem, I am impressed.

Reminder - I am able to use interim versions of the product which means that the UI I show may NOT be what the final product has.

For those of you who are trying to play with the beta while doing your real job, I can empathize with you on the effort that it takes.

    Exchange 2007 UM had a demokit with the partner that used the MP118. Internal to Microsoft we have found a way to use the MP114 for our demonstration purposes. The challenge we have is that it isn't supported so we don't want to give too much information however it is a great demo solution. I will do my best to balance that in coming posts.

    Is that Audiocodes MP 114 work with Exchange 2007 UM as well as the OCS?
