Windows PowerShell: The Power of Profiles

Have you ever wished Windows PowerShell would launch with a work environment tailored to your specific needs? This is actually pretty easy to do.

In the latest issue of TechNet Magazine, which is available online, Don Jones demonstrates how you can use profiles to customize the Windows PowerShell shell. As Don explains, "these profiles are essentially shell scripts, with a .ps1 file name extension, that execute automatically when the shell runs."
