SQL Server 2012 with SP1 Slipstream ISO images do not install SP1
Hello SQL friends,
With a slipstream Image you can install SQL Server 2012 SP1 directly without the need to install SQL Server 2012 SP1 separately after installation of SQL Serer 2012. Unfortunately, by using the ISO images that were previously posted on MSDN and TechNet, SQL Server 2012 SP1 does not install successfully after you install the image.

Workaround. After you installed SQL Server 2012 SP1 with one of those ISO images, reinstall SQL Server SP1 again.
Cheers,
Heinz

The slipstream images on the download center are eval versions but you can easily upgrade to a full version by starting the SQL Server setup, then in the sql server installation center go to Maintenance and klick Edition Upgrade. At the moment you have to wait until the new images are reposted or you can build your own slipstreamed images with SQL Server 2012 and the SP1 packages.Anonymous

Are the slipstream bits on the Download Center an eval version, or the full version? Is there any other way to get the bits until they are reposted?
