Kudos to Bill G

I have to say that I am impressed with Bill Gates' announcement to transition into a new role focused on the Gates Foundation. I find his humanitarian work truly honorable, and a task that I know he will continue to succeed at.  It is sad that I just started at Microsoft and am gradually finding my way in while Gates is now going to gradually find his way out.

For what it's worth, a doctor-friend of mine who recently visited Africa to practice medicine for a month said he saw first-hand the effect the Gates Foundation has had on Africa.  He saw clinics focused on HIV/AIDS as well as basic health needs.  Obviously, Time magazine picked up on his philanthropic work, and I'm sure soon enough he'll get picked up by Nobel, too.
