Articulating the Benefits of the Italian National Enterprise Architecture (SPCoop) using the BDN Methodology
Organizations wishing to collaborate can benefit from the opportunities offered by the interoperability in Information Technology and, in particular, by the cooperation of the software systems and services.
For public administrations, a similar collaboration can produce economic and social benefits.
I had recently the opportunity to apply the Benefit Dependency Network (BDN) methodology - with a few changes, approximations and personalization - for analyzing the benefits of the Italian "SPCoop" - "Sistema Pubblico di Cooperazione” (meaning "Public Cooperative System") - a nationwide enterprise architecture developed in accordance to the National interoperability framework, defined in the law decree named "CAD" - "Codice dell'Amministrazione Digitale" (meaning “Digital Administration Code”).
