SQL Server on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2

Microsoft SQL Server 2005 SP3 and SQL Server 2008 SP1 and later versions are supported on Windows 7 and Window Server 2008 R2.

SQL Server 2005 Express Edition SP2 and SQL Server 2008 Express Runtime RTM are also supported on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2.

    The weird thing is that i have make it work on Windows 7 but in certain coditions.
  1. Install Windows XP.
  2. Install MSDE SQL Server 2000
  3. Upgrade to Windwos Vista
  4. Upgrade to Windows 7
