"SQL Server 2008 SP2. Microsoft targets release in Q3/CY2010." blogs.msdn.com/.../sql-server-servicing-plans.aspx Any update on that target, given you've only got three days left to meet it?! As your customers have overwhelmingly told you time and time again, cumulative updates are not acceptable as a replacement for regular service packs. Let the people who are severely affected by an issue take the risk of a cumulative update; the rest of us want properly tested and supported service packs on a reasonably predictable schedule.
