Errors when choosing Help in HIS 2009 tools and utilities

The following error may be displayed when pressing F1 in the HIS 2009 Configuration Tool:

This problem occurs if “Microsoft Document Explorer 2005” is not installed on the system. If I install  "Microsoft Document Explorer 2005", then error does not occur and Help is launched. When I remove  "Microsoft Document Explorer 2005" the error comes back. As a workaround, you can install “Microsoft Document Explorer 2005" on the system. You can find the install package on the HIS 2006 media (if you have that) under the Platform folder. The file to run is dexplore.exe.

The HIS 2009 setup process installs “Microsoft Document Explorer 2008” as it is a pre-requisite, but it appears that the Help function in the Configuration Tool is checking to see if “Microsoft Document Explorer 2005” is installed. Both versions of the Document Explorer can be installed on the system.

This problem appears somewhat similar to the HIS 2009 Documentation issue described in the following post:

Also, the following error dialog is displayed when pressing F1 in the Data Access Tool:

If you press F1 (or click Help) in the SNA Manager MMC Snap-in when “Microsoft Document Explorer 2005” is not installed, no error dialogs are displayed. However, the HIS Online Help is not displayed either. This problem is resolved once “Microsoft Document Explorer 2005” is installed.

Thanks…
