Lowe's implements new cost information provider
Lowe's has hired Acorn Systems, a profit solution provider, which the retailer said it will use to make "faster" and "more effective" business decisions, regarding costs and profits. Acorn's Microsoft-based platform meets the scale and speed needed for a quick implementation. Lowe's currently operates more than 1,250 stores in 49 states and plans to enter Canada next year.
