ReMIX brings the best of MIX downunder
So I've just returned from MIX and CHI. My tutes seemed to go well at CHI, and MIX was great fun. There were a bunch of Aussies there among the 2,100 developers and designers in Venice Las Vegas learning about the latest MS stuff, as well as hearing industry luminaries like Clement Mok (I shook his hand!) and Jesse James Garrett (met him before...).
Now for the good news! We're bring MIX down under!
ReMIX will be held over two days in Melbourne on the 25th and 26th of June at the Crown Promenade.
We've already lined up a bunch of local and international MS and non-MS speakers to present on the 'next web', whatever that is. Highlights for me include:
- Lee Brimelow from Frog Design, who worked on the WPF Yahoo Messenger application.
- Lucas Sherwood from Lightmaker in Melbourne will be showing two very cool, new and high profile applications - one in WPF and one in Silverlight.
- Local case studies from MYOB, Queensland Rail, Gecko Images...
- And much more - check out the website.
Plus we're working on a couple of others that I won't jinx by mentioning just yet...
And possibly the best news of all: It's only $140 for two days, including party and a free copy of Expression Web.
Hope to see you all there in June.
PS I think this is a personal blog post tagging record.

Well it just goes to show you you can't tell a developer by their pocket protector anymore. Designervsdeveloper.com.au
