The SBS 2008 Answer File and the Certificate authority name
[Today's post comes to us courtesy of Damian Leibaschoff]
If you haven't seen this post from Sean Daniel, go ahead and read it, this was a pretty recurring issue during the beta that just finished, and although proactive action was taken to try to explain how to use this field, it cannot hurt to learn a little more... Bottom line, very few people will ever need to use anything but the defaults here.

Indeed, this particular issue cropped up on my own SBS 2003 to SBS 2008 migration. If you're not on top of this issue, expect to have plenty of challenges managing certificates if you get this wrong! Luckily, I'm planning another migration in the near future to test the SBS 2008 to SBS 2008 migration plans (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc664208.aspx). I'll have a chance on that migration to fix the errors I made in my last migtation. And until then, I have another public domain that I can put to use on my install (better than the other option of 'rebuild').Anonymous

My company does a lot of SBS server migrations and new installs. Getting a heads up on this is very helpful. Thanks for looking out for us in the field.Anonymous
