The Imagine Cup

The Imagine Cup is a group of international student competitions united by the theme that technologies can help "dissolve the boundaries between us." Participants may make entries into a number of categories that are as diverse as Software Design, Technology Business Plan and Short Film. All 9 categories are open to students at the post-secondary level, and there are also three categories (Web Development, IT and Visual Gaming) which are additionally available to secondary ("high school") level students.

The contest began on November 1st, and registration is open until March of 2005.

I'd go out of my way to help a team of students make an entry. Who's in?

This is awesome Robert...thanks for offering to help. I think you'll get some takers because this link jumped out at me from the Office Developer center homepage!

In which categories would you consider making an entry?

Hey, what kind of help are you offering, we are a group of students from Mexico that want to have no competition with our project. But it is hard to think what kind of projects could be the correct ones. I am aware that (for Software Design) what counts is the way you solve a problem and what kind of software architecture you design. But I could use the extra tips and maybe see you in Yokohama if you are going to be there.
