SQL Server 2005 developer discussion tomorrow night
There's more than one way to look at a database (and I don't just mean using different OLTP database diagrams!). Developers, DBAs, and Business Intelligence analysts all have their own perspectives on a data store.
No matter what your perspective, you're going to find a lot to love in SQL Server 2005. At tomorrow night's INDA talk, I'm going to discuss what's new in SQL Server 2005 for developers. We'll look at how SQL Server 2005 integrates with the CLR and provides much richer XML support. If we have time, we'll also touch on some of the more advanced features, such as SQL Service Broker and integrated web service endpoints.
I look forward to seeing many of you there - 7:00 tomorrow night at Buswell's Hotel in Dublin - and if there's anything in particular you'd like me to cover, don't hesitate to contact me. I'm teaching an Intro to .NET Hands-On Lab tomorrow, so, the sooner, the better :)
