Mix06 About to Start!

Mix 06 Welcome to Las Vegas, where Mix06 is about to kick off and Microsoft will announce just how big a bet it's making on technologies surrounding the next generation of the web.

In true "Web 2.0 Style," I'm going to be blogging this in real-time as best I can -- including hopefully from the keynote in an hour. 

Included in the registration pack were the following DVDs:

  • IE 7 Beta 2 Preview Build 5335
  • A Virtual PC of XP SP2, IE 7.0 and WCF featuring Infocard
  • Windows Vista Feb CTP
  • IIS 7 Preview Training
  • Visual Studio 2005 Standard Edition

The pack also included:

  • Atlas "Rough Cuts" brochure (looks like a very cursory look at the upcoming O'Reilly book)
  • Mix "Sandbox in the Sky" on the web, where we can explore the new technologies
