Microsoft Ireland PDC Party, Tuesday@6PM. In other news, Los Angeles braces itself for developer overdrive!
PDC is kicking off in Los Angeles in a matter of days, and as with TechEd Europe, I'll be down at field level, armed with laptop and digital camera, doing my best to record a play-by-play for you here on the blog.
For those of you like me who are attending from Ireland and Northern Ireland, I wanted to take this chance to invite you on Tuesday night at 6:00 – just after the last PDC session of the day – to join us for drinks along with the other attendees who have made it to LA from across the Atlantic.
It’ll be a great opportunity for everyone to come together and meet, greet, chat and compare notes during what promises to be a very exciting conference. We’ll meet outside the main exhibition hall (which will be just opening at that time) and head to a nearby venue where you’re all welcome to partake of some pre-dinner drinks courtesy of Microsoft Ireland’s Developer and Platform Group.
Three of us from the group will be attending PDC this year: Sean Foley, Bill O’Brien, and little ol' me. We'd love to have the opportunity to meet you, find out what you’re interested in, and hear from you about the focus you’d like us to have at Microsoft Ireland over the coming year.
(And speaking of focus - you don't have to be an attendee to chime in on that front - send me mail if there's anything in particular you'd like us to check out while we're in Los Angeles!)
Wishing you all safe travels over the next few days, and looking forward to seeing fellow attendees on Tuesday night!
