Great Hands-On Labs for WCF (Windows Communications Foundation ('Indigo') )

Windows Communications Foundation logo With the January CTP of WinFX out the door, and a Go Live license available for its WCF and WF components, I'm getting more and more requests for good developer resources that will bring you from zero to WinFX hero.

Well, if you're curious about WCF, the Windows Communcations Foundation, then I've got just the thing.

Craig McMurtry, a member of the WCF team, has created two excellent hands-on labs for Windows Communications Foundation that lead you from a blank Visual Studio 2005 screen, all the way through the fundamentals, to the construction of a reliable, transacted messaging system.

The page I've linked here and above includes detailed instructions for how to install all the beta bits of WinFX and get going.  All of it's free to download - use the Express Edition of Visual Studio 2005 if you don't have it around.

This is highly recommended stuff for anyone who wants to explore WCF.
