Fun with Sketchiness in WPF
I've been having fun recently using my own dreadful handwriting as a font, which I captured using the My Font Tool PowerToy for the Tablet PC. It gives a "hand-sketched" look to Powerpoint slides and WPF apps.
Robert Ingebretsen has taken pencil-sketchiness to the next level with hand-drawn shapes in WPF. A simple idea, but well executed, particularly because of the intuitive parameters he's offered to the designer to tweak the sketchy look and feel: Randomness, Messiness, StrokeOffsetRandomness.
Now if only my bedroom had a Messiness slider that I could pull down to 0.
