New KB article: MonitoringHost consumes 100% CPU on SCOM agents

In System Center Operations Manager 2007, agents may consume 100 percent of CPU resources for the Monitoringhost.exe process. This problem occurs on x64-based computers.

A new Knowledge Base article has been published to address this and there’s a hotfix available for download.
