Sharepoint Sales Break US$800m

Our IW partners hardly need reminding that Sharepoint is hot - we are in constant discussions about lack of resources - but this was a great read:

"REDMOND, Wash. — July 26, 2007 — Today, at Microsoft’s 2007 Financial Analyst Meeting, the company reported that its Microsoft^® Office SharePoint^® Server business generated revenue of more than $800 million in fiscal year 2007, due to strong demand for the enterprise- ready, integrated server capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. This represents a growth rate of more than 35 percent over fiscal year 2006.
