KinectShop: The Next Generation Of Shopping

The technology behind Kinect has gone much further than gaming.  Since its launch, we’ve seen many use it in very creative ways – ranging from a touch free PC, an entertainment center and even as a tool in the operating room.

What about shopping?  Yes – Now you can see what it would be like to use Kinect at a store to “try” some items on without event going into the changing room.

A new augmented reality shopping platform for Xbox Kinect will allow users to try on clothes in true 3-D, share photos with friends, and store wish-listed items on smartphones for shopping on-the-go.
