Blog Watch: “BI With JB: Doing Business Intelligence with SQL Server 2008 R2”

I recently came to learn about a new blog in the blogosphere called BI with JB.  The author of the blog, Jordi Bartual  (now you know where the “JB” comes from), is an ex-Microsoft employee and a big-time specialist and enthusiast on Business Intelligence.

The blog is super useful and runs through solutions in a step-by-step fashion on topics such as:

  • Importing data from SAP
  • UOM as a Measure
  • Date as a Measure
  • Non-fix width flat file
  • BOM (Bill-Of-Materials) Scenario with SQL Server Analysis Services
